 Thunderbolt Systems: The History of Thunderbolt Systems
J. Mike Stuckey founded Thunderbolt Systems in 1995. In the beginning the company was focused on being a live sound reinforcement company. Partnering with various lighting companies, we were a critical component of a team of businesses providing touring production.
Early touring clients of Thunderbolt Sytems included Prince and The WWF (now WWE). Providing the top of the line in audio equipment and experienced professionals who could make good use of it, the company developed a reputation for being among the best in the business.
Later in the 1990's Thunderbolt Systems expanded their scope to include video production as well as lighting. Investing heavily in video production and presentation equipment. Around this time they also began to get more involved in installs and a/v support for corporate entities.
In the early part of the 21st century Thunderbolt Systems broadened the scope of their business further still with the investment in a large static lighting system. This lighting division has grown to include moving lights from Vari*Lite and various other lighting effects.
As we near the end of the first decade of this century, Thunderbolt Systems continues to move forward to bring you the best production available. Most recently, in the fall of 2008 a new audio system featuring VTC ProAudio was brought into the inventory. We are excited to see what is ahead of us and we look forward to serving you for all your production needs.
